Ansan Korean Music Orchestra is specifically focused on children insofar as catering to them in improving their appreciation and love for traditional culture by familiarizing them with Korean classical music through music classes in elementary schools. Furthermore, the orchestra holds concerts for underprivileged immigrants and migrant workers, thus forming unity within the community through Korean classical music.

Tightrope walking is an acrobatic performance labeled number 58 of South Korea’s Important Intangible Cultural Properties consisting of a long line that performers walk on while accompanied by arts, jokes, and traditional musical instruments that tell a story to entertain viewers. The show is scheduled to launch with a unique approach of tightrope walking by performing to the orchestra’s instrumental accompaniment, rather than traditional instruments.
